Devprayag Sanskrit University

e Central Sanskrit University’s Shri Raghunath Kirti Campus at Devprayag was opened on June 16, 2016. This University is on the historical grounds of the former Shri Raghunath Kirti Adarsha Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya (est. 1908). This university covers and area of 23 acres, located just above the confluence, the sacred Sangam Ghat. The University campus offers traditional and modern education in Vyākaraṇa, Jyotiṣa, Sāhitya, Veda, and Nyāya, alongside subjects like Hindi, English, Computer Science, and History .

It currently has enrolled around 100 students in Prak‑Shastri, Shastri, Acharya, and Ph.D. programs, guided by faculty members.
