The bridge is necessary ?

Due to the closure of Laxman jhula bridge, local people and tourists have to move from Ram Jhula bridge and Janki Setu Bride. In the year 2023, Tehri administration also stopped the movement of two-wheeled vehicles on Ram Jhula bridge. On the bridge only pedestrians are moving. From July, the Kanwar Yatra has to begin.

The crowd gathering in the Kanwar Yatra will pass through Janki Setu. From this, the problem of local people and traders will increase. On Janki Setu, the operation of two-wheeled vehicles is permitted.

With the making of Bajrang Setu, from Tapovan local people, devotees, and tourists would get the facility to go directly to Laxman Jhula. Right now they have to come from Ram Jhula bridge and Janki Setu. People going to Neelkanth road pass through Garud Chatti bridge from Brahmpuri.
